Everybody at Shockernet is saying anyone who knows much about WSU should play a zone. Apparently, ISU played one and was pretty successful.

See what Simmons does. My guess is man to man all the way.

Even though, it would be nice to knock WSU out of the race and out of NCAA shot. UNI, is much like we use to be back in the day. Nothing flashy, good defense, no stand outs. I would much rather have them representing.

WSU 66
UE 63

I agree with that. It would be nice to see us play like that again.

My predictions 1 our offense will be very tight. 2 we will set alot of picks in tight. 3 we will play no help defense. and if we do help the help will come from the wrong spots and no one will rotate or recover. It is hard to play help side when all players and coaches don't understand the rotations of it so we might as well play zone.4 Colt wiil play 38 min shoot 5 -17 get most of his points at the end of the game . clint 3-5 I do think holmes will get more shots in this one. 5 pvt will come in and some one won't rotate or not blockout but not pvt and marty will not play him anymore. 6 Jones will play 3-5 min no matter what he does. we will press the last 4 min down 25 with our starters in and not give anyone else a chance. Lets see how close I am. I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON HERE.

Snow coming. Anybody remember Creighton and the snow?

Ramblings out of frustration!

Let's see . . . we both lost to Ill St at Normal, they by 15 and we by 14. So, if you extrapolate the square of the hypotenuse of the largest lead and divide by pi times the temperature at tip-off of both games, factor in the before mentioned snow at the Creighton game, we should outlast them 65-64.

I am with everyone else. I want to see them represent well, but I don't see it being a victory. It's hard to remember that your intention was to empty the swamp when you're up to your a _ _ in alligator's.

Substitute "Marty" for "Jimmy"?

I seem to recall we win on Anslinger's last second shot and I couldn't go because of the snow. Am I correct......at least about Anslinger's shot and the win?

I think Anslinger hit a shot at the buzzer and it was a Sportscenter Top 10 for the day. I couldn't make it because of the snow either, but I rememeber hearing about it.

I love your anaysis 2918, wouldn't that be great if that actually happened because I (and probably everyone else here) HATE the Shockers!

Drinking a big cup of purple Kool Aid (purple passion)...

We could beat WSU if we can play two halves like we played the first one at Creighton 's Qwest center. If the coaching staff isn't reviewing that film for the 100th time and trying to find out what we did right then it's a loss tomorrow night. we have never look more as a world beater than we did then. The talent showed up and showed what they could do.

Our defense had them where they wanted them and our offense clicked as it should. We do that more than once and the seats at Roberts will be at choice. Right now you can buy a cheap ticket and sit at floor level.

I reread some of the earlier game post and it seems we have the same situtation we had at the beginning of the season. Are we not learning and correcting from our lapses? If not then who in the coaching staff isn't getting it done?

I was happy to see the big man coach be Hollander. We have been decimate in that area with the loss of Bouchie and Johnson being red shirted PVT is a RS junior Is he going to be back next yr Why?? He should have his degree .

We need some mules in the middle We have perimeter shooters. we just need to get them open for the shot We proved that at Creighton

yes if we could shoot 70% for the game not 30% we might win, but we don't have very good shooters or passers on this team. we need to recruit some shooters and someone who can get shots for others without this you could put superman in the middle and would not help.
