In spite of garnering interest from schools such
as Butler, Wake Forest, Ohio, Michigan, and Miami (OH), a school which
also made him an offer, Colt Ryan, a shooting guard from Batesville,
Indiana, signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of
Evansville on September 8th, 2008. An outstanding shooter, Ryan is a
lock to be an Indiana High School All-Star after this season. He can
play the one or two guard position as he possesses great vision and
passing skills as well.
"It was mostly a basketball decision," said
Ryan of choosing the Purple Aces. "I like the way they
play, the motion offense. It's the way I like to play where you have
the opportunity to beat people with your brain as well as your skills." |
